Do it yourself wedding favours?

Hi…I need immediate help. I’m having my wedding on Wednesday and the person who was going to make my wedding favours backed out on me last minute. It’s a small wedding (40 people) so I was looking for ideas on what I can do for the favours. I’m also wondering if anybody knows if I can get a personalized ribbon done in one day for these do it yourself gifts. I appreciate any and all advice.

DIY favours often include little boxes of chocolates, if you pop into a chocolate shop and are ordering 40 boxes, the owners will probably be fairly helpful.

Some people also use little pot plants for each person, again go for a garden centre to buy in bulk. Pretty ribbons tied around each one in your wedding colours will make it match your day.

Others like to bake little biscuits, pipe icing on with guests initials if you want to be really fancy, if not do them all the same with ribbons tied again. Martha Stewart’s wedding site has templates and ideas.
